Ben Brownlee, an accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in customer success and support roles, has just joined SOCi Inc. as the company’s new Chief Customer Officer.
Ben’s appointment comes at a decisive time for SOCi as it continues to expand its leadership team and strengthen its position in the digital marketing automation field.
Brownlee's career background includes a range of key milestones:
Rack Room Shoes (1994 - 2001): Started as a Store Operations & Customer Support Leader in Charlotte, NC.
Director of Customer Support & Technical Account Management (2003 - 2013): Held a leadership position in Charleston, South Carolina, overseeing various functions related to customer support and technical account management.
Vice President Customer Support (2013 - 2019): Led the centralization of acquisitions and workforce dispersal into a Center of Excellence (COE) for user engagement, renewals, support, and more at Blackbaud.
Global Vice President Customer Success (2019 - 2022): Managed a 550+ person centralized Customer Success Management and Customer Support team at Blackbaud.
Chief Customer Officer at Gong (2022 - 2024): Responsible for overseeing the global customer journey and value realization for Gong's Revenue Intelligence AI platform.
Chief Customer Officer at SOCi Inc. (2024 - Present): Appointed as the Chief Customer Officer at SOCi Inc., focusing on driving customer success and digital marketing excellence.
Ben's extensive experience in customer success and support roles will be instrumental in driving growth and success at SOCi.
His appointment follows the company's recent celebration from G2's Annual Software Awards, which include the company's #5 ranking for Best Marketing and Digital Advertising Products and top 10 ranking for Highest Satisfaction Products based on customer satisfaction ratings.
