A Place for Mom, a prominent senior living referral company, is redefining its customer communication strategy by eliminating the senior living community liaison position.
The New York City-based company announced it is laying off its entire customer success management team, which is about 6.8% of its nearly 900-person workforce.
This decision means a move towards more direct lines of communication with senior living operators.
CEO Larry Kutscher emphasized the importance of advisors connecting directly with community customers to enhance relationships and service quality.
